Aren't we already using Google?

Yes. We are currently using Google Apps for Education already. We will now be adding Mail and Calendar to the suite of products you already use. Any current Google products you are using will remain the same, and your data will remain the way it is.

What happens to my Groupwise emails?
We will be migrating all of your email from January 1, 2000 up until the current date over to Google Mail for you. This includes your folder structures you may have setup in Groupwise and sent messages.  You can also access our email archive to see all mail we have saved for you.

Will my calendar appointments be moved to Google?

Will our home folders and file-shares be moved to Google?
Your home folder and it's contents will be moved to Google Drive in the coming months.
Department file shares will NOT move at this time.

Will students be given email accounts in Google?
Not at this time. While this may be something we do in the future, it is not part of this current rollout.
